Ecuador magic cloud forest tours

This trip offers a visit to the Ecuadorian cloud forest, an ecosystem with many waterfalls, crystalline rivers, birds, butterflies, orchids, ferns and a great variety of flowers. This natural and magical spot is also considered one of the best places for birdwatching.

Itinerary

Day 1
Arrival in Quito and transfer to Hotel Café Cultura.

Day 2
After breakfast travel northwest from Quito, arrival at the Pahuma Reserve where we can enjoy a walk along a trail full of orchids. Box lunch en route and in the afternoon while we drink a cup of coffee we can enjoy the company of more than 25 species of hummingbirds. Late afternoon arrival at Sachatamia Lodge with dinner and overnight.

Day 3
In the morning we will walk along the trails of the Mindo Nambillo Reserve arriving at a beautiful waterfall, later we will continue our adventure with a canopy tour. After lunch we will visit the butterfly farm, here the local guides will explain to you about the metamorphosis process of these insects, in the afternoon return to Sachatamia Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4
After breakfast enjoy a range of different activities such as trekking through the forest, bird watching and after lunch we will return to Café Cultura Hotel in Quito for the night.

Day 5
After an unforgettable expedition in Ecuador, filled with culture and nature we are transferred to the airport to catch our flight.
